Happy Friday!  Here's my card for this week.  I decided to work with a colored piece of cardstock I haven't used yet and found this "Really Rust" color from Stampin' Up.  The Earth Love pattern paper by Cosmo Cricket coordinates well with this color and I think the birds are cute.  For some reason this card reminds of the "Partridge Family" show.  I used a corner punch on the corner of a retangular piece of cardstock and stamped the sentiment the same color as the cardstock.  I hope you wonderful weekend!  I think we all need it.

Supplies used:

Scallop Punch
Cardstock in "Really Rust" - Stampin' Up
Earth Love pattern paper - Cosmo Cricket
White cardstock
Sweet Serendipity stamp set - Stampin' Up

My first color challenge

Hello, all!  Here's my attempt at Kristina Werner's Color Challenge

My friend's birthday is coming up so why not use the Color Challenge for the card, right?  I used the big swirly stamp from Stampin' Up!'s Baroque Motif set.  The butterflies were cut out from Hero Art's Pattern Butterflies set and placed onto the card using dimensionals to make them pop out.  Enjoy!

Supplies used:
White Cardstock
Stampin' Up - Baroque Motif stamp set
Hero Arts - Pattern Butterflies stamp set
Stampin' Up colors - Bashful Blue, Real Red, Cameo Coral, More Mustard, So Saffron

Happy New Year!!!

Wow, it's been a while...  Just wanted to wish everyone a blessed new year!  I'm glad to put 2009 behind me and look forward to the surprises ahead.  One of my new year's resolutions is to post on this site at least once a week.  And working out... But I think that's on everyone's list after the holidays, right?  haha...  Hopefully, I'll stick to both plans.  For Christmas, I created my "tree" card below using satin ribbon and the ruffling technique I used on this card.  Then I applied rhinestones on my "tree" as my ornaments.  On the brown cardstock, I used the snowflakes and the sentiment from the Holiday Cheer clear stamp set by Hero Arts.  I hope I can stick to my resolutions and that you stick with yours.  :)

white cardstock
brown cardstock
