just because...

Time for another KWerner design color challenge!  This time it was a Reader's Choice challenge using the following colors:
I just bought the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge so I thought this was the perfect opportunity for me to use the cartridge to make a thank you card for my friend.  For the sky background, I sponged light blue ink over cloud templates I cut - similar to the technique I saw here.  Using the Cricut Design Studio, grass pieces were welded together onto a rectangular shape.  Add a bee, some flowers and a loopy sentiment and  voiolay!  You've got an aesthetically pleasing card that people will go nuts over (just kidding).  Did I mention that The Little Mermaid is my favorite movie? :)
Anyhoo... happy friday and have a safe Memorial Day Weekend!

Supplies used:
Cardstock - white, purple, yellow, black, light blue
Patterned paper - Cosmo Cricket "Earth Love"
Ink - Stampin' Up's Bashful Blue and Brillian Blue
Stamp - Loopy Letters by Image Tree
Create A Critter cartridge - Cricut
