Gobble gobble!

Happy 'early' Thanksgiving!  Time to prep my stomach for some good eats.  haha.  I'm planning on making these whoopie pies as my contribution to the holidy table.  Don't they look scrumdiddlyumptious?  If you're not sure what to make for Thanksgiving, I suggest visiting The Brown-Eyed Baker blog.  Lots of delicious recipes.  Okay... 'nuff about food.  My stomach's starting to rumble. 

I made the pillow boxes for my coworker who's hosting Thanksgiving at her house for her family.  The pillow boxes were cut out using the Pillow Box Sizzix Bigz Die from Stampin' Up! on Kraft cardstock.  The sentiment is from the Falling Leaves stamp set and stamped in Chocolate Chip.  I love the leaves stamps in that set.  I must make sure to use those in a future card soon. :)  The pumpkin came from the Been Boo'd stamp set from Papertrey Ink and I stamped that on Whisper White Cardstock.  I sponged Pumpkin Pie Ink on the outer part of the circle to create a kind of vintage-y feel to it.  Then I matted the circle with Chocolate Chip cardstock.  Finally, I used satin ribbon in Pumpkin Pie to wrap around the box and hold the goodies inside.  I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!  Tryptophan, I'm ready for ya!
