Why hello again! Whaddya know, 2 posts in one day :) I'm back to post another card for a different challenge. This time it's for CAS-ual Fridays challenge CFC125. I've participated in their challenges a few times, but I'd like to do this more frequently this year. One of my many resolutions.
As I mentioned in my previous post, this is also a "happy" card. Happy is such a versatile word. Happy birthday - happy holidays - happy for you - the list goes on and on. This one was a birthday card for my coworker. On the front of the card, it looks like a simple birthday card.
But when you open it... Bam! Parrrrtay! I used Papertrey Ink's Movers and Shakers Happy Die as well as their Birthday Styles stamp set. I love, love, love this stamp set and it's coordinating dies. The balloons and decorations were stamped using Papertrey Ink's Aqua Mist, Stampin' Ups Regal Rose and Barely Banana, and Tsukineko's chalk ink in Pixie Dust.
I also made the candle "pop" out a little bit. You can see it a little better from the picture below.
The birthday I stamped along the edge of the die came from Papertrey Ink's Birthday Basics set. I also glued a little bit of Regal Rose cardstock between the 2 white layers to add a pop of color behind the "Happy" die.
Happy cheers to you!
